STOKE CITY MIDFIELDER ATTRACTING INTEREST FROM NUMEROUS CLUBS

The transfer deadline is coming drawing nearer and while some clubs are looking to continue making additions to their squad, other clubs continue to be nervous and wary of bigger sides who would want to bully them into selling their prized assets. This is currently the situation Stoke City find themselves in.

Josh Tymon is one of the club’s hottest prospects who only joined the first team squad a few weeks ago. He has captured the heart of first-team manager Michael O’Neill and has since continued to impress his manager after linking up with the senior team and engaging in a few training sessions with them.

The midfielder, still only 21, is continuing to make a name for himself as an already-established central midfielder at such a young age. He has improved his game in such a way that anyone who doesn’t know him and watching him for the first time would think he has been with the senior squad for a long time.

He has recorded several eye-catching performances for his side, not forgetting his remarkable cameo appearance some weeks ago when his side faced Nottingham Forest. He was also a star performer in the cup victories over Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa. He has shown so much versatility having been used at Left-back position, left-wing-back position, and on the wing as well

However, with Joe Allen returning from injury, alongside John Obi Mikel and Sam Clucas, coupled with the fact that Jordan Thompson and Jordan Cousins have both stepped up their performances in recent times, it will get even more difficult for Tymon to continue progressing with the senior squad.

It has led to talks of him being sent away on loan so his development would not be halted. Crystal Palace, Burnley, and Arsenal are part of the many clubs linked to snapping him up on loan.
